This small but cozy restaurant provided great service and a delicious breakfast. Now I know why there was a Trip Advisor's excellent review sign in the front. They first served us freshly squeezed orange juice before serving our tasty chiliquelles.

Nothing to write home about.
Fair prices, fair food.
Tried the pancakes & they were pretty thick but burnt on one side. I'm nervous about sending good back in Mexico so I just charged it to the game. -

Fantastic food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We would come back again any time.

Delicious food!! Service was great. The waiter was very friendly, and very attentive. Very clean, and nice atmosphere. Five of us came here and all tried something different. We tried everything from lobster ravioli gnocchi and it was hard to pick a favorite, each dish had its own distinct flavor and taste, but you could tell a lot of thought went into the preparation of them all. For dessert we tried the tequila ice cream and tiramisu and neither one disappointed. Overall it was a great restaurant. It is located off the main stretch and nestled in a quiet little area but well worth locating. Rey David will not disappoint.

We had an odd experience at this restaurant. It was just beginning to look like rain when we stepped in for a bite to eat. Despite three or four tables being open towards the front of the restaurant, the person who I assume was the owner guided us to a back corner table that was halfway outside of the roofed area (remember, it looked like it was about to rain) wedged between an old fan and empty water jugs. I thought it so odd that despite there being other more ideal locations available in the restaurant we were guided to this strange corner. It was just uncomfortable. I began to look around and realized my husband was the only dark skinned customer in the restaurant and couldn't help but think that had something to do with the cold treatment from the owner. This has never happened to us before in any country we have visited and although I realize it may not have been the motivation, it seemed all too much of a coincidence. There was one other waiter who was polite to us, thankfully. The food was only mediocre. The presentation was nothing like the pictures here on yelp. Nothing compared to what I've eaten in Italy, which was surprising as I assumed the owners are Italian. Needless to say, we won't return.
